Welcome to Home Carves! These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, www.homecarves.com, and your purchase of our handcrafted wood products. By accessing or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Handcrafted Nature of Products

Each item from Home Carves is made to order using real wood and precision CNC carving. Due to the natural characteristics of wood, variations in grain pattern, color tone, and engraving depth may occur. These differences are part of the authentic, handmade quality of our products and are not considered defects.

2. Product Disclaimer

Home Carves does not sell firearms. Our products are decorative storage solutions designed to discreetly store personal items, including firearms. While our boxes include a secure RFID locking mechanism, they are not intended to replace a traditional gun safe, and may not meet legal firearm storage requirements in your jurisdiction.

By purchasing, you acknowledge that:

You are responsible for using this product safely and legally,
You will follow all applicable local, state, and federal firearm storage laws,
Home Carves is not liable for any misuse, accidents, or injury resulting from the use or storage of items within our products.

By purchasing, you confirm you are of legal age to make this purchase and agree to use the product responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to make a purchase on this site.

4. Pricing & Payments

All prices are listed in USD. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time without prior notice. Payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments or other trusted gateways. We do not store your credit card information.

5. Shipping Policy

We currently offer free shipping within the United States only. We do not ship internationally at this time.

Once your order leaves our facility, we are not responsible for damage, loss, or delays caused during shipping. However, if your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will gladly assist in filing a claim with the carrier on your behalf.

6. Returns & Cancellations

Because each product is made to order, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed.

We do not offer replacements or refunds for items that become chipped, damaged, or worn over time due to use, impact, or improper installation. If you experience an issue with your order upon arrival, please reach out—we’ll do our best to make it right.

7. Installation Notice

Our products include pre-cut mounting slots designed for secure installation into wall studs. However, Home Carves is not responsible for any damage resulting from improper mounting or installation. Please follow all included instructions or consult a professional if needed.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site—including product designs, photos, logos, and descriptions—is the intellectual property of Home Carves and may not be copied, distributed, or reused without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Home Carves and its owners, affiliates, and employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:

The use or misuse of our products,
The inability to use our site or services,
Shipping delays or damage,
Installation errors or product modification.
